Ascender Roofing Solutions is a licensed roofing contractor serving homeowners, property managers, and commercial property owners across San Francisco and the Peninsula. We combine practical roofing experience with professional project management, so you always know what is being done, why, and what comes next.
Our company was co-founded by Hedayatullah Habibi, a C-39 roofing qualifier, and Asmat Shahabi, who leads business operations. Together we bring roofing field knowledge, procurement and construction supervision experience, and disciplined business management to every project.
Every job starts with an on-site inspection. We assess the condition of your roof, explain whether repair or replacement makes sense, and provide a clear written scope and itemized proposal before any work begins. Throughout the project you receive regular updates and photo documentation, from the first day to the final walkthrough.

Hedayatullah Habibi
Co-Founder | C-39 Qualifying Member | Field Operations & Project Management
Habibi leads the technical roofing work and field operations at Ascender Roofing Solutions. As the qualifying member for the company's California C-39 roofing license, he assesses roof conditions, identifies leaks and deterioration, recommends suitable roofing systems, and oversees preparation, installation, and repairs.
He focuses on the details that keep water out: membranes, underlayment, flashings, roof penetrations, and drainage. His experience covers asphalt shingle, flat roofing, and modified bitumen systems.
From inspection to completion, he oversees estimating, material procurement, crew coordination, site supervision, quality checks, and permit and inspection coordination, following applicable building requirements and manufacturer installation instructions.
His roofing work is backed by a career in procurement, construction supervision, and project management, with projects managed from contract award through inspections and closeout. He holds an MBA and a bachelor's degree in economics.

Asmat Ullah Shahabi
Co-Founder | Business Operations & Project Management
Asmat leads business operations at Ascender Roofing Solutions and runs the customer side of project management. Working alongside Habibi, he keeps every job organized from the first inquiry to closeout: written scopes and itemized proposals, scheduling, supplier communication, permit and insurance paperwork, photo documentation, and regular customer updates.
He brings more than 25 years of business, management, and organizational operations experience, including procurement and construction supervision. He holds an MBA and is PMP, PRINCE2 Agile, and ITIL certified, and he applies those disciplines to roofing projects with defined timelines, clear records, and structured quality checkpoints.
For property managers and commercial owners, that means insurance certificates on demand, consistent documentation across properties, and one point of contact. For homeowners, it means knowing what is happening, what comes next, and whom to call.

Licensed, bonded, and insured
Ascender Roofing Solutions, a DBA of Ascender Builders LLC, operates under California C-39 Roofing Contractor License No. 1163569.
We maintain a contractor's bond, an LLC worker bond, workers' compensation insurance, and general liability insurance. Insurance certificates are available on request.
We believe customers should be able to verify whom they hire. The official Contractors State License Board record shows our current license status, classification, bonding, and workers' compensation information.
